Photographic

Photos are taken on commission (portraits or events) or on spec (public events). The most modern digital cameras (Canon fullframe DSLR), best quality lenses (Canon 'L'-for-luxury series) and other equipment are used. The photos are developed digitally; sometimes this can take 15-30 minutes for each image to get the best results for clients. The final images are provided to the client (if commissioned) or made available for purchase via this web site.

Public liability insurance of $10 million is held. Proof is available on request.

Particular photographic duties we love:

• portraits - photographing families and chlidren in their environment - home, local park, etc.
• photographing theatre and dance classes, pre-performance and especially during a performance
• sports photography, indoor or outdoor

Training & education

The owner and teacher, Robert, has a doctorate in IT and certificate in adult education. He has lectured at university for over four years teaching many hundreds of small group classes. He has presented material ranging from teaching basic photography to beginners to papers at the highest quality international academic conferences.

Training in photography and related areas is core to the business, hence we offer courses in

• basic & advanced photography;
• getting the most out of your digital SLR;
• basic & advanced Adobe Photoshop;
• Adobe Lightroom.
